Friday evening: pull everything out

Saturday morning: three piles
- Keep. Worn in the last year, or genuinely seasonal and genuinely loved.
- Resell. Unworn for a year but in good, honest condition. This is the pile that pays for the weekend.
- Repair or recycle. Beyond wear, or fixable with a hem, a zip, or a button. Fix the fixable; recycle the rest through textile collection rather than general waste.
Be ruthless with the “one day” items. A dress kept for a hypothetical event is a dress someone else is currently searching for.
Saturday afternoon: one photo session
Batching is what makes this work. Set up once near a window with a plain wall, then shoot the whole resell pile in one run: front, back, fabric close-up, brand and care label, and any flaw. Saturday evening: price the pile
Work in bands rather than agonising piece by piece. Mainstream brands in good condition: roughly 30–50% of original retail. Premium or hard-to-find: higher, and check comparable live listings. Fast fashion: price for volume, not margin. Sunday: list in batches
