    Circular by default

The greenest garment is the one that already exists.

Re· is built on a simple idea: most of what the UAE needs to wear has already been made. Our job is to make passing it on easier than buying new.

    The problem

    Fast fashion made clothes disposable.

The fast-fashion model is built on volume: more collections, lower prices, shorter wear. According to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s A New Textiles Economy report, clothing utilisation, how many times a garment is actually worn before it is discarded, has fallen sharply over the past two decades, while production has roughly doubled.

That claim is theirs, not ours; we cite it because it matches what people tell us about their own wardrobes. Almost every closet in the UAE contains pieces worn once for an occasion, or never worn at all.

    The hierarchy

    Reuse sits above recycling.

Circular thinking has an order of preference. Recycling is the last resort, not the headline.

    1. Wear what you own

The lowest-impact garment is the one already hanging in your wardrobe. Re· exists for everything after that point.

    2. Resell and reuse

Every piece deserves more than one story. Re· keeps great fashion moving from one wardrobe to the next, while we handle pickup, delivery, and secure payment. Less sitting unworn. More re·wearing, re·loving, and passing it on.

    3. Repair before replacing

A missing button or a loose hem is not the end. Re· even has a “Damaged” condition grade so those pieces find a new owner.

    4. Recycle last

Textile recycling is the final stop, not the first answer. Anything genuinely unwearable belongs there, everything else belongs in someone’s closet.

    Why the UAE, specifically

A wardrobe that turns over quickly.

The UAE loves fashion, and our wardrobes move almost as fast as we do. New seasons, new occasions, new styles, and plenty of perfectly good pieces that barely make it out of the closet.

That’s where re· comes in. We make it easier for great fashion to find its next wardrobe, so what you’re done wearing can become someone else’s next favourite find. Less sitting around. More being worn.
