In detail
Buying and selling pre·owned designer in the UAE
Designer resale is where the risk in peer-to-peer selling concentrates. The value per item is higher, the difference between "as good as new" and "good" is measured in hundreds of dirhams, and the traditional UAE route, a DM, a meet-up, a bank transfer, offers the buyer no recourse at all once the money has landed.
Re· restructures that transaction. The buyer pays in the app and the funds sit in escrow by our payment partner. Re· collects the piece from the seller and delivers it tracked, typically in two to four days. Only after the buyer's 24-hour check window closes without a report does the seller get paid, minus the 8% Seller Success Fee and the 1.95 AED platform fee.
For sellers, that structure is what unlocks a fair price. A buyer who knows they can return a misdescribed bag is a buyer who will pay closer to what the piece is worth. Grade the item honestly, photograph the hardware, the lining and any wear, and list it free, you are charged nothing until it sells.
